The AFT Liner is made of high quality chromium steel that is highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
The FWD liner material also provides excellent wear resistance and lip lubricating properties.
Together with seal rings, the liner is a crucial component of the stern tube seal system.
Despite its importance, some liners are heavily worn before its expected lifetime and/or porosities are found which
leads to stern tube seal rings to leak that in turn causes concern for shipowners around the world.
Combining the lastest casting technology and extensive R&D history, HC-7 liners are completely porosity free as well as providing excellent wear resistant properties.
