Overhaul replacement of seal ring

When it comes to overhaul (shaft removal), seal rings can usually be installed by the shipyard engineers. As simple as it may seem, there are many crucial procedures in the installation process that the shipyard engineers may overlook. To overcome this potential shortfall, our specialist engineers can always supervise the complete process to make sure the job is 100% by adding extra level of knowledge.

Vulcanizing (Bonding) replacement of seal ring

It is possible to replace seal rings by vulcanizing without removing the propeller or the shaft. To perform this service requires a special tool and can only be carried out by Luminar marine’s fully trained & qualified service engineer Whether the vessel is afloat or in dry dock, we can perform this service. To prevent even the slightest possibility of leakage, our engineers will perform this service with utmost care and attention. All of our vulcanizing services will come with 1 year warranty.
